SEABOROUGH SEABOROUGH VILLAGE ST 40 NW 12.6.53 1/243 Higher Farmhouse, (formerly listed as Higher Seaborough Farmhouse) GV II
Farmhouse. C17. Ashlar and rubble-stone walls. Asbestos slate and slate roof, hipped at left hand, with a stone gable-coping at right hand. 2 brick stacks, right of centre, at right hand gable. 2 storeys. 4 windows: 3- and 4-light stone mullions, with hollow chamfers. C20 metal casements with lead lights. Separate labels over ground floor windows. Front door, left of centre, plank with thin muntins, C20. Interior: reset fireplace with a four-centred head, and the initials and date IB, PB 1628. Source: RCHM Dorset I, p199(4).
