ST 6416 2/146 28.11.50. II* GV 2.
Unusual front, the detail of which is mostly early C19. The structure is older and there is a back wing and minor alterations to the front which appear to be late C19. Front is 2 storey, 6 window, the lower part pebble- dash, the upper stucco. Between them is a string with incised key-pattern, and this is returned across the two doorways forming a frieze. The doorways have Ionic pilasters with pebble-dash panels. Egg-and-dart cornices. Ground floor has 3 sash windows of which one retains glazing bars. 1st floor sash windows have glazing bars removed. Shutters. Panel treatment of incised lines above 1st floor windows. Parapet. Cornice with mutules and paterae. Roof has 5 hipped dormers. West end of house has to rear wing a 2 storey bow with 3-light sash windows. Remains of painted sundial, apparently late C19.
