2. Early or mid C18, possibly a rebuilding of a C17 house, as Dr Thomas Jessoppe is supposed to have lived there in 16 3. Hammer dressed stone. Pitched tile roof. 2 storeys and attic. Stone modillion eaves cornice. Parapet, cement rendered. 5 ranges of sashes with glazing bars in moulded flush frames: stone lintels with projecting key blocks. Attic dormer. Round-headed doorway has flat rendered archivolt, keystone, and fanlight. Rear has 4 storey parapetted red brick tower: 1 range of casements with rubber voussoirs. This tower is supposed to have been built by a Capt Jessoppe in order to see his ships in the harbour over the roof of No 74 opposite. 2 storey rubble extension to rear has chamfered ceiling beams, and therefore may possibly be the remnant of Dr Jessoppe's original house. 1 pair of ashlar gatepiers to west of house on street frontage. Interior: ground floor has early C19 joinery and 1 room on east side has early C18 fielded panelling to dado level. Bedrooms have cupboards with fielded panelling and 1 mid-C19 cast iron fireplace. Doors with fielded panels throughout.
Nos 61 to 115 (odd) and wall from east end of No 115 form a group.
