Attached house and cottage. Dated H.G.E. 1772 on stone tablet over the front door. Red brick walls in Flemish bond, with projecting brick quoin-work. Slate roof with stone gable-copings and kneelers. Brick stacks at each gable. Two storeys. 3 windows, 3-light C20 wood casements with horizontal glazing-bars, wood cills. 2-light casement over front door. Segmental brick arches to ground floor. Front entrance at centre, with moulded stone architrave, plain frieze and moulded cornice. Panelled door, C20. Attached cottage at east end, early Cl9. Brick walls. Slate roof with stone gable-coping. Two storeys. 2 windows canted bay at left ground, fixed window with glazing-bars, 5 panes width. Wood cills. 2-light wood casement with glazing-bars to right of this. 2-light wood casement over. 3 feathers (Duchy of Cornwall) on east end wall. (RCHM Dorset I, p,194(5))
