Description
                BROAD STREET 1. 1357                                           (South West Side)                                           No 8 SY 3492 1/226 II                        GV 2. Cl7 or earlier timber-framed building.  At south-east end of Broad Street front, gable end with exposed timber framing; ground floor has been altered to make room for modern shop and shop front, the latter incorporating a strapwork panel. To right hand again, another modern shop front, felt roof over, and to right hand again, a passageway leading down to Ross House.  South-west facing front of Ross House of 2 storeys, 3 window bays.  Slate roof.  Slate cladding to wall. Splayed bay through both floors at either end.
Bell Cliff Retaining Wall and Railings and Nos 4 to 10 (consec) & 10A  Broad Street form a group.
