Down Farmhouse -

Detached farmhouse. Dated STA 1699 HS on stone panel, with probably earlier core. Stone walls, rendered and painted. Thatch roof with gable ends. Clay-tile roof at right hand end. Gable-coping at right hand gable. Two storeys and attics. 4 windows in total. 3-light wood casements, with horizontal glazing-bars. Wood cills and lintels. Front door, right of centre in moulded wood frame, plank door with weatherboard, C20. The gable-end outshuts are not of special interest. Interior access not obtained, probable historic interest.
