HIGH WEST STREET 1. 5l91 (North Side) No 58 SY 6990 7/80 II GV 2. 3 storey 5 window yellow brick front. Early C19. Stucco plinth and strings. Moulded eaves. Slate roof, dormers. Sash windows with altered glazing bars. Round-headed doorway with recessed arch-ring. Plain front made less attractive by altered glazing bars. Bought in 1828 to be The Judge's Lodging. Nos 48 to 65A (consec)including the Shire Hall, Holy Trinity Church, the Museum, St. Peter's Church and monument to William Barnes in churchyard immediately south of West Tower form a group.
