Detached Public House. Early Cl9. Dressed stone walls. Slate-roof with gable-ends. Brick stacks at left hand gable, right of centre, rebuilt. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars, Wooden cills. Segmental stone arch voussoirs. Front door, left of centre, stone pilasters with simple capitals. Round projecting arch, keystone with carved rosette inscribed, "The Marquis of Lorne". Fanlight with glazing-bars. Bar entrance right of centre, plank door with glass lights.
