Listed Building: SOUTHOVER FARM HOUSE (106355)

The following Building shall be deleted:- CIVIL PARISH OF TOLPUDDLE 9/166 Southover Farm House TOLPUDDLE SY 79 SE - 9/166 Southover Farm House 21.2.79 - II Farmhouse. Original rear range probably C17. Front range mid-C19. Walls of front range plastered, marked out in ashlaring, those of rear range part brick, part plastered cob. Hipped slate roof to front range, corrugated iron roof to rear range covering or replacing thatch. T-shaped plan. 2 storeys. The original rear range, one brick stack at south end, one at junction with front range. Ledged door, and evidence of blocked door. Ground floor has one casement with centre horizontal bar. First floor has 3 casements, 2 with glazing bars and one with centre horizontal bar. Internally, main ground floor room has large open fireplace with chamfered and slightly cambered lintel, and bread oven. Some exposed ceiling beams. Front range has 2 canted bay windows with plain sashes on each floor. This range not of special interest. Listing NGR: SY7884893986
