HIGH WEST STREET 1. 5l9l (North Side) No 48 SY 6890 7/70 8.5.50. II GV 2. Late C18. Yellow brick. 3 storeys. 3 ranges of sashes. Doorway with Doric pilasters and entablature breaks forward ever them. 6-panel door with fanlight in panelled reveals and soffit. Nos 48 to 65A (consec)including the Shire Hall, Holy Trinity Church, the Museum, St. Peter's Church and monument to William Barnes in churchyard immediately south of West Tower form a group.
