BEAMINSTER HOGSHILL STREET, ST 4701/4801 (SOUTH SIDE) 7/72 12-6-53 Nos 15 and 17 GV II
Shop and attached House. c.1800. Coursed lias stone walls, rendered at right hand. Slate roof. Stone gable-coping with level kneller at right hand. Brick stacks at left hand, centre and right hand. 2 storeys. 5 windows (3 + 2). Sashes with glazing-bars. One C20 shop window to Wool Shop. Concrete lintel over. Doors: at centre of no 15, 4-panelled with 2 top-lights, C19. 2 large plank carriage-doors with strap-hinges. Door at centre of no 17, wood with 4 fielded-panels. Painted pilaster framing and entablature with plain pediment over.
