Description
CHEAP STREET 1. 1625 (South West Side) No 26 [Brooklyn House] ST 6316 1/43 28.11.50. II GV Probably late C18 2-storey, 2 window bay front to earlier structure. Plaintile roof. Wood eaves cornice. Painted brick front. On right hand is 2-storey bow with panelled strips between sashes and reeded fascial. On left hand is pedimented doorcase with panelled reveals, reeded frieze, dentil cornice and 6-fielded panelled door. Wing at back is C17 and has an original staircase.
Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even) form a group.
