C17 refronted early C19.  3-storeys.  Slate roof.  Rubble walls.  Originally one house. No 6 has 2 windows with glazing bars intact.  Half-glazed door with side-lights.  1st floor overhangs behind.  No 6A of 1 window bay.  Stuccoed front. Sash windows with glazing bars intact.  Modern glazed door to left hand.  Stop chamfered beams and plank and muntin partitions apparently within.
Nos 6, 6A & Nos 7 to 10 (consec) together with the Old Police Station form a group.
Nos 6 & 6A close the vista to the west of the group comprising Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Monmouth Street.
