2. No 1 late C18, remainder probably early C19. Red brick. River elevation of Nos 3 and 5 hammer dressed stone. South end slate hung. Pitched slate roof. Coped gable ends. Red-brick stacks. 2 storeys and attics, No 1 has 3 ranges. Others have 4 ranges of sashes with glazing bars. 4 attic dormers with casements.
All the listed buildings in North Mills form a group.
