Inn. Early C19. Painted rubble, slate roof; service wing to the right rubble with brick dressings and slate roof. The main building is a long 2-storey range with low-pitched hipped roof; this has a long central rear wing with slightly lower ridge and outer gable end. The right end has a painted brick bay connecting to the service unit with central flush gable. 2 storeys, 7 windows, sashes with plank external shutters; at first floor are five 9-pane, with a blind opening far left, and, at a lower level to right, a 12-pane. Ground floor has four 16-pane, to cambered lintels; to the far left is a 6-panel flush C19 door, and far right, in the painted brick link, a further 16-pane with shutters. At the centre, to a cambered arch, a pair of glazed doors to a lobby with internal doors. The back includes flat dormer windows, and has a rounded outer corner to the W end. The later range has a stack to its left, a loading door above a shuttered opening, and a large loading bay with C20 shutter on the gable end. INTERIOR: not inspected.
