House in row. Early to mid C19. Rendered, asbestos-cement slate roof. 3 storeys, attic and basement, 1 window, all plain sash. A paired sash dormer in a mansard, above a 3-storey canted oriel with moulded cornices, carried on 2 slender iron legs with protective rail to a paired sash with wide mullion in the plane of the wall. To the right, on 4 stone steps with nosings is a C19 four-panel door with transom light in a moulded architrave with a moulded hood on consoles. A small plinth, bands at each floor, a moulded cornice, continuous through the top of the bay, blocking course and parapet. The brick stack is to the left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
