Probably originally a house, now a shop.  C17 origin but altered C18.  Squared rubble and render, tile roof, brick end stacks.  2 storey, 2 window range. Ground floor left has a 2-light sash with glazing bars in a moulded frame.  To the right is the shop door and a small shop window with no glazing bars.  Above are 2 sashes with glazing bars in moulded frames.  To the rear is a range which contains a blocked window with a square stone label.  Internally there are chamfered beams and wall plates, a fireplace with a 4-centred head and a moulded stone doorway.  "RCHM, Dorset, Vol III", HMSO, 1970, p 281, no 36.
