House, C17 or earlier with probably C18 extension left. Banded flint and
rubble, brick and timber frame. Hipped and half-hipped thatched roof with
stack at left end of original range and near the centre running parallel
to the ridge. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Mainly 2 and 3-light
casements with horizontal glazing bars, Some leaded lights. Plain plank
doors. Probably used as two cottages at one time. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III",
p 205, no 17.
