Description
1. 1615 BIMPORT (South-East Side) No 6 (Weighbridge House). No 8.
ST 8622 2/139 II 2.
C18 and later. 2 storeys; attic storey [I dormer with original glazing] to No 8. 3 windows to No 6, two to No 8. 2 parallel ranges to No 6, south range with tiled gabled roof; front range along street has slate gabled roof. Brick dentil cornice. Stone rubble front. 2-light casement windows, modern windows in No 8. In No 6, on ground floor, late C19 canted bay with red tiled hipped roof; modern projection with one window to right hand. 6 flush panelled door in frame with top 2 panels cut away and glazed; wooden lintel. No 8 has modern door; porch with scagliola columns and flat roof. Lean-to annexe at right hand end with double wooden boarded doors and entrance to No 10, The Haven.
