ST 8806 1/47 27.10.50. II* GV 2.
2 storey probably late Cl8 corner house with 1 dormer facing Salisbury Street. Usual brickwork. Dentil eaves cornice. Interesting C18 shop under slate penthouse with coved soffit. On the Market Place side there are 4 round-headed shop windows and a doorway with lead fanlights. These are separated by stone pilasters. Alterations on Salisbury Street side. Graded II* on account of its fine shop front.
All the listed buildings in Market Place, and Nos 59 to 73 (odd) East Street,
Conyer's Filling Station, Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 2 to 8 (even) and No 12 West
Street, and Church of St Peter and St Paul form a group.
