10/33 Crown Farm House

Detached house, formerly the Crown Inn, with integral outbuilding on right.
Probably late C17 origin. Walls of house of flint and brick banding; those
of outbuilding of cob on flint base. Hipped thatched roof. One storey and
attic. L-shaped plan with rear wing at left end. Front range has cross-passage
separating house and outbuilding, ie of long-house type. Ledged door in tiled
gabled porch. Second ledged door into outbuilding. Ground floor has one
casement with glazing bars, one with centre bar and 2 small plain casements.
Attic has one dormer with casements with centre bar. Larger dormer in outbuilding.
Left gable wall buttressed. Some chamfered ceiling beams. RCHM Monument 5.
