2. C19. Cast iron milestone with raised lettering, on former turnpike from Ringwood to Christchurch. Now of historic interest as new bypass has broken this road.
No 1, Staplecross Farmhouse and the adjacent milestone, form a group with Hawthorn Cottage (a building of local interest) on Hawthorne Road.
