2. C18. Rendered facade to adjoining cottages. Thatched roof with coped gable ends, 2 storeys. 2 windows each, early C19 casements with glazing bars, most of No 172's windows are replacements. Solid porch, each with gabled thatched roof. No 172 has buttresses (and a southern rear extension not listed).
Nos 163 to 169 (odd) and Nos 173 and 175, form a group with Nos 168 to 172 (even) opposite. (No 175 is a building of local interest).
