Listed Building: NEW BARN FARM HOUSE (107609)

WOODLANDS SU 00 NW CRANBORNE ROAD (west side) 5/150 New Barn Farm House GV II Farmhouse. Late C18. Brick walls, with dentil cornice at eaves. Tiled roof, half hipped at left end, one brick stack at right end, one at rear near left end. 2 storeys and attic. Centre section projects slightly, with pediment rising above eaves, - this also with brick dentil cornice. C20 glazed porch, with pair of C20 part glazed doors, under segmental arch with stone keystone. Ground floor has 2 C20 metal casements under similar arches. 3 similar windows on first floor. Small circular window in pediment. Attic has 2 hipped dormers with casements with horizontal glazing bars. Rear wing has plastered walls and tiled roof, of 2 storeys and attic. Attached to this at rear a range of single storey outbuildings, of brick and tile. Internally, some raised panelled doors. Sited in the centre of a Scheduled Ancient Monument (M18). (R.C.H.M.
