Pair of semi-detached cottages, - probably originally one house. C18 origin, - No. 1 altered in C19. At right angles to road. No. 1 adjoining road, has plastered walls with some "mock" timber framing. Hipped thatched roof at right angles to main range, ie, parallel to road. Brick stack near centre. 2 storeys. Elevation to road has the left section set back. In the angle, a lean-to porch with tiled roof carried on timber balusters on brick base. Part glazed panelled door. Right of this, - the original gable end - a canted bay window on ground floor, with tiled roof, and casements with glazing bars. Small casement with glazing bars on first floor. South elevation has a 2 storeyed canted bay, with thatched roof. On ground floor of this a casement with glazing bars; - smaller casement on first floor. No. 2 - furthest from road, has brick walls and hipped thatched roof. One storey and attics. Part glazed door in rustic tiled porch. Ground floor has 2 casements, one with horizontal glazing bars, one with bars in upper panes only. Attic has one half dormer with casements with glazing bars. Lean-to extension at right end of brick, with slate roof, has one casement with glazing bars. Quite picturesque.
