POOLE ROAD 1. 5193 Canford Bridge SZ 0199 1/94 14.6.52 II
2. Circa 1813 by John Dyson, Engineer. Bridge of 3 arches over the River Stair, of which the southern half is in the Borough of Poole. Portland stone ashlar. High segmental arches, pointed cutwaters and coped parapet with square pier terminals. Date plaque in north joint of central archway inscribed "This bridge finished, in the year 1813, by John Dyson Engineer, Jesse Bushrod, Mason".
