6/43 The Village Hall
GV II
Former school, now village hall. Date stone above entrance - AD1845. Rubble stone walls, slate roof with coped gable surmounted by stone cross. At right angles to road. Entrance - right of main building in small gabled porch, has ledged door in 4-centred archway in square frame with spandrils and hoodmould. In main gable, a large 3-light mullioned and transomed window with hoodmould, and latticed cast iron glazing. Small quatrefoil opening above this.
