Pair of cottages in terrace.  Date Stone, 1781, over door to No. 37 - this originally a common entrance to the pair.  Rubble stone walls, stone slate roofs, brick end stacks.  2 storeys and attics.  No. 35, on left, has part-glazed door, (in original window opening).  Ground floor has one casement with horizontal glazing bars under flat arch.  First floor has 2 similar casements - without arches.  No. 37 has part-glazed door. Ground floor has 2 casements with centre horizontal glazing bar, under flat arches.  Similar arches to both doors.  First floor has 2 sashes with centre glazing bar.  Each cottage has one hipped dormer with casements with centre horizontal glazing bar.  (RCHM, Monument 35.  Dorset. Vol. II).
