3/135 Peacock Lodge Including gate piers and gates

Lodge in Charborough Park. Late C18 - early C19. Ashlar stone walls, flat roof with parapet. Large elliptical arch in centre, spanning drive, flanked by lower single storey blocks. The arch carries an attic course, surmounted by a figure of a stag. The blocks each side - living accommodation - have circular windows. Curved stone wing walls from these blocks, with terminal piers. C20 extension to north-east block - also single-storeyed, with flat roof. Simple iron gates in archway. RCHM Monument 3.
