Pair of cottages - possibly originally one house. Probably C18 but may be of earlier origin. Plastered cob walls; hipped thatch roof; plastered stacks. One storey and attics. Welavere has later single-storey addition on north, slate roofed; contains part-glazed entrance door. Ground floor of main house has one casement window with glazing bars. Flintham has open porch with part-glazed door. Ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars and one metal casement. Attic has one dormer with casements with glazing bars. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol.
