3/2 Knaveswell Farm House 20-11-59 GV II
Farmhouse. Probably late C17 origin - altered. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, one stone and one plastered end stack. One storey and attic. Stone porch with lean-to roof. C20 glazed door - also one blocked doorway. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with glazing bar. Attic has 3 pent-roofed dormers with similar casements. Rear extension of one storey and attic in matching construction. Single-storey lean-to extension at left end, with corrugated asbestos roof. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol. RCHM Monument 7. (Dorset Vol. II).
