Detached villa, one of three. 1827, by Joseph Wilson. Stone walls stuccoed, with a stucco plat-band. Low pyramidal slate roof with projecting modillion eaves. 4 brick stacks, 2 at left hand eaves, 2 at right hand eaves. Square on plan (double depth), with coach-house at rear. 2 storeys, 3 windows, square sashes with thin glazing bars. Ground-floor with tall French windows with thin glazing bars, set in shallow elliptical-headed recesses. Front door at centre, wood and 6-panelled. Semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. Doorway with a reeded pilaster surround with plain imposts and a dropped key over. Trelliswork to French windows is missing. Iron railings to street are missing. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 89 (7).
