Farmhouse.  1844 (date stone on front wall).  Coursed rubble stone walls, slate roof, brick end stacks.  2 storeys.  In Tudor style.  Part-glazed panelled door under flat hood on shaped brackets.  Ground floor has 2 casements in ashlar surrounds, with hoodmoulds.  First floor has 3 similar windows.  At right end, a single-storey extension, with slate roof.  At left end, a C20 2-storeyed extension, with plastered walls and tiled roof.  This has one casement with horizontal glazing bars on first floor. (RCHM Monument 3. (Dorset. Vol.I))
