Description

A concentration of Neolithic and Early Bronze Age flint working waste was recorded during work on the Wessex Water Authority Eagle Lodge to Forston Trunk Main in 1984. NRHE: Fieldwalking surveys & observations along a water pipeline from Stinford's Hill to Forston pumping station located: (i) concentrations of Medieval & Roman pottery between SY 703911-SY 706912; (ii) flints at SY 6878 9222; (iii) two ditches of uncertain date at SY 70059158 & SY 69789163; (iv) a farm building at SY 69839163; (v)
