Description

Mr N Teulon Porter found some medieval pottery of thirteenth to fourteenth-century date while observing building operations in 1949 on the south side of Hawksdean Lane, about 200 yards ESE of Hawksdean Farm. The nature and extent of the building operations is not known, though the site is now occupied by a school.
