Description

An evaluation undertaken as a condition on planning permission for development at the rear of 36-69 East Borough revealed a topsoil containing modern materials and a low density of prehistoric worked flint and medieval pottery. No datable archaeological features were revealed, but at least two linear slots were observed. Funded by the East Borough Housing Trust.
