Description

C.J.S. Green observed building works about 65 yards south west of the former pub at the foot of The Grove during 1964-5. one or more inhumations were partly exposed on the line of the garden wall running east from School Lane. One, about 25 yards from the lane lay approximately N-S with the feet and hobnails to the north. The presence of two more with similar alignments was suggested by excavations resembling graves some 15 yds to the west.
