Description

The site of 'The Two Barrows' was surveyed by 'J.G.B' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 30 September 1980. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: At SY69778989. The site of one of these barrows is visible as a slight but unsurveyable swelling in the roadway. There is no visible evidence of the other. [1]
