The site of two possible barrows was surveyed by 'N.J.A.' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 13 January 1981. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows:
The cropmarks of two possible barrows are visible on air photographs. Both are about 27.0 mteres in diameter, on at approximately SY67468942 and the other at SY67508944. There is no trace of any mound on the ground, an area of arable. [1]
