Description

The site of the Roman Town House, Colliton Park, Dorchester, was surveyed by 'J.G.B' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 10 October 1980. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: The preserved remains are correctly portrayed on the OS 25-inch 1971 and correspond to the plan shown in authority 3. [1]
