Description
A survey and structural analysis of 12 The Square, Beaminster was undertaken by K A Rodwell in November 2006 to inform a planning application for alterations to the Grade II Listed Building.
The structural evidence indicated that the building originated as two separate properties, The earlier and larger part is 17th century, consistent with its rebuilding date of 1687 after a fire. The northern part is mid 18th century. The two properties were probably combined in c. 1830.
