Description

Wessex Archaeology carried out a desk based assessment of land at Preetz Way, Blandford Forum during 1994. No archaeological remains have been recorded within the site, although recent archaeological evaluation work along the proposed A350 improvements to the south of the river Stour has demonstrated the archaeological potential for prehistoric and Roman remains in comparable topographic positions to the proposed development site.
