Description

Members of the Shaftesbury and District Archaeological Group cleared and investigated a drainage sump on the upper level of the garden at 7 Love Lane. The structure consisted of stone (greensand) blocks with bricks on top, and measured 5ft deep by 4ft 6in wide and 4ft 9in long.
