AC archaeology conducted an archaeological watching brief during groundworks for a new building development at Barton Hill, Shaftesbury during June 1994. Ten medieval rubbish pits were recorded [1].
The client report was not available at the time of writing and the event has been mapped as a point on a modern housing development on the south side of Barton Hill. This location requires confirmation.
