Description

A desk-based study and site visit. The main aim of the study was to assess the survival of the Late Iron Age and Roman remains which had been discovered on the site in the 1920s. It was concluded that although the subsequent building work was likely to have destroyed much of the evidence, there was potential for good preservation on the fringes of the site.
