Archaeological Surveys Ltd conducted a magnetometer survey across eight horse paddocks covering an area of 2.8ha. A possible chalk extraction pit and several linear very weak positive and negative responses were located. Other discrete and linear features were discovered but were of uncertain origin. The features which were located within individual paddocks could not be interpreted confidently and may have been associated with the underlying geology or former field systems.
