Description

Observations and recording during reinstatment of part of the outer rampart on the northern side of Maiden Castle, following badger damage. The badger sett was partly excavated by hand and by machine, exposing part of the chalk rubble of the rampart. No traces were observed of any archaeological features cut into the rampart.
