Description

Monitoring of the machine excavation of four trenches during groundworks for replacement of two electricity poles situated within the Scheduled Monument of Battery Bank. Evidence indicated the remains of an up-cast bank and part of the ditch was exposed and subsequently excavated. No datable archaeological material was recovered.
