Description

Site visit following excavation of an L-shaped service trench running along the south and east sides and about 2m from the edge of the site of a new house and garage. A cultivation soil overlying a variable sandy subsoil was observed. It varied in depth from 0.4m on the east side of the site to over 1m in the south-west corner of the site. No artefacts were seen. On the basis of this site visit, no further visits were deemed necessary.
