Description

Evaluation comprising the excavation of 15 trenches approximately 1.6 metres wide and varying in length from around 25m to 50m. The evaluation produced very mixed results, possibly due to waterlogged ground and bad weather which hampered work on site. Only one archaeological feature - a possible hollow way in Trench 13 - was identified clearly. Two flint scatters of late Neolithic date were recorded.
